Inicio o primeiro post de 2012 com uma excelente notícia (que nem é tão nova assim, mas o registro se faz necessário): o site REQUADRO ultrapassou a marca de 3.000 visitantes no último mês do ano que passou. Quero agradecer a todos que acompanha o meu trabalho, especialmente os que deixam comentários nos posts. Eu já disse isso antes, mas não custa repetir: vocês são o combustível do artista que vos fala. Um grande abraço a todos, e, mais uma vez, muito obrigado.

I’m starting this first post in 2012 with a great new (which is not that new, but it worth’s the record anyway): my website REQUADRO broke through the mark of 3.000 accesses on December 2011. I want to say thank you to all the people that follow my work, especially the ones that leave comments at the posts. I’ve already said this before, but I can’t avoid saying it again: you are the fuel that moves this artist. A great hug on all of you, and, once again, thanks’ a lot.

Eis o fruto do feriado de 7 de setembro. O rascunho foi feito à lápis na tradicional prancheta de madeira e arte finalizado usando o Photoshop e tabelt.

This is what came up from September 7th (Brazilian holiday). Freehanded sketch (using the traditional wooden drawing table) inked on Photoshop with tablet.

The illustration above is a small part of a complex scene in which I’m working on. The waitress is just one of many people in the scene which takes place in a rock bar.

It’s been a while since I drew this sequence. It’s not what I’m working on by now, but it is also part of one of my comics projects. I don’t wannna make you think I’ve abandoned the blog , so it worths to be publishe.

Entrou no ar nesta última sexta-feira 13 (deixando de lado toda a supertição de mal agouro) o site da confecção Bem Bolado Jeans, desenvolvido pela DV9 Soluções Digitais e lay out de minha autoria. A ilustração que você vê acima compõe o corpo do site. A imagem foi desenhada a mão e colorizada digitalmente. Originalmente a idéia era criar dois  sites, um deles com linguagem infantil e outro com linguagem juvenil, mas, a sequencia do trabalho nos levou a uma única ilustração que representasse os dois universos. Então, a ilustração que vocês vêem abaixo é o conceito original do que seria a versão infantil abortada.

The fhashion trademark “Bem Bolado” released it’s official website this last frieday 13th (besides all the superstitious stuff). The website has been designed by DV9 Digital Solutions and I was the one responsable for illustrating the image which composes the website’s layout. This image was hand drawed and digitally colorized. Actually, I had to create two illustrations for the original concept, one of than representing a childish environment and the other one representing a young environment, but the sequence of que work pointed us on the direction to this single illustration which represents both. So, the image you see below is the childish environment aborted concept.
